English Name: Jordan Chan
Mandarin Name: Chen, Xiao Chun (Xiaochun)
Other Name: Chan Siu-Chun

Jordan Chan Siu-Chun was born on July 8, 1967. He joined TVB's Dancer Training Classes in 1985 and gradually moved his way up the ranks from there. He did back-up dancing for popular singers like Roman Tam, Anita Mui and Sandy Lam Yik-Lin until 1992, when he formed a musical group with fellow dancers Jason Chu Wing-Tong and Michael Tse Tin-Wah, called Wind, Fire, and Ocean. He made his film debut in Twenty Something (1994). The film would bring him a Hong Kong Film Award for Best Supporting Actor and a nomination for Best New Artist. That year he was also nominated?in the same categories?for He's a Woman, She's a Man.

The nominations would continue to roll in for Jordan Chan. He was nominated for HK Film Awards in 1995 for Heaven Can't Wait, and in 1996 for Big Bullet. Since then,Jordan Chan appeared in two Milky Way films, Help!!! (2000) and Comeuppance (2000), as well as a number of popular horror flicks. However, the role that truly Chan is truly identified with is Chicken, from the Young and Dangerous series. The series spanned the years 1996 to 2000, and during that time, Jordan Chan rapidly transformed from an acclaimed supporting actor into an unconventional leading man.
Jordan Chan has gone through a number of name changes over the years. His ID card bears the name "Andy" and he was known variously as "Donald" and "Calvin" during his dancing days. He finally settled on the name Jordan because he was a fan of Michael Jordan. (Yinique 2003)

Jordan Chan plays one of the guys in the Hung Hing Triad called 'Mountain Chicken'. Jordan is the sidekick of his 'big brother' Chan Ho Nam, played by Ekin Cheng, who is one of the up-and-coming triad personas in HK. U definitely have to watch Part I to know what I'm talking about. Part I and Part III r crucial, the other parts u can skip over, but watch Part VI if u really like Jordan.

For Jordan Chan's new album titled "Heartless You" he especially contacted Taiwanese R&B star David Tao and well known Singaporean musician Chen Huan Ren to help him with the production work. No doubt this will elevate the perfection of his latest release even more. It was not easy for Jordan to get his fingers on David Tao who later helped Jordan Chan write the lyrics as well compose the music for the title song "Heartless You" & "0932". The star's main track "Tears & Laughter of Marital Destiny" offers ancient opera rhythms and makes fun of broken hearted lovers. Last but not least, Jordan also asked no one else than Andy Lau to record a telephone message for his new song "Can't Stay"!
